Baby Boomers around the Sound will receive a heightened jolt of relevant and intriguing content as Boomers' Braintrust will begin airing Monday at 10am on the Megatalk airwaves. Veteran talk show personality John Dean and Dinah Smith will host the two hour daily program featuring guest interviews and financial and money management content.

Boomers' Braintrust replaces two hours of The Ray Lucia Show and is affiliated with the Money Business Life Networks.

Concerts by the Bay

The onset of warmer and drier weather not only prompts the "on" switch for summer mode, but also distinguishes the outdoors as a viable option for fun activities.  Once again, the Port Orchard waterfront provides a wonderful venue for musical performers in the Concert by the Bay series.  Each Friday from June 6 until August 1, local artists performing a variety of musical genres will offer a free concert open to the public.  This musical series is part of the Fathoms O' Fun festival.  For a complete schedule of performers click here.

2013 Seagull Calling Contest

The 25^th edition of the Annual Seagull Calling Event highlights a loaded lineup of Memorial Day weekend festivities at the Port Orchard Waterfront.  While local culinary experts will be judged on the taste and texture of their “Seagull” wing recipes in a separate Wing Cook-off, hundreds of contestants will prepare to mimic the call of the pesky shore bird.  The events are part of the Kitsap Harbor Festival and presented by the Port Orchard Chamber of Commerce.
